Positive: This was my first time in Athens and I basically wanted to go to the Acropolis & associated museum, so the room was in a good location for that and sufficient for a 1.5 day stay. Check-in was easy and they had good instructions. The 4th floor common room with a balcony was a beautiful area, I wish more of the hotel was like that. Negative: It's a dated property, as the room and bathroom show some age (e.g., the clothes closet looks ancient), and there's no chair to sit on, etc.

Fine for a short stay, but a bit cramped for anything longer Positive: The location was great, and the included breakfast was at a bakery across the street. We had amazing omelettes there every morning. There was a sitting room and balcony on our floor. which was nice and very much needed as the room was too small to really hang out in. Negative: Unfortunately, our room was a very small and the bathroom was very narrow with a tiny shower. I am not a large person, but I could not even turn around in it. It did not have a door, it had a plastic curtain which was constantly coming in contact with my body while I was showering. Then when you got out of the shower, you had to turn sideways just to get past the sink. Definitely not a pleasant showering experience! There also weren't enough places to plug in our devices. One of the outlets did not work, so we had to unplug the coffee machine and the table lamps to have useable outlets. This was likely an apartment building converted into a hotel. There was one other room on our floor. It's very possible some of the other rooms were nicer than ours.

Voldoende Positive: Good location and value for money. It is close to famous attractions, but not in the most touristy part of the city. No noise pollution and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It is close to the metro station and the room is clean. Negative: Breakfast is not in the hotel itself but at a café outside, so I wouldn't recommend it. It looks on the pictures as if this is in the hotel itself (a bit misleading), so pay attention to that. The breakfast itself is quite mediocre and the service is not really friendly. There are no employees in the hotel, only from 10.00-18.00, exactly the times that people are often away and in the city. It feels very impersonal as a result. The room itself is fine, quite small but we knew that in advance. In particular, the shower is very tight and the temperature of the water is also variable.
